Mr. Blathras specializes in providing financial advice to closely held business owners and high net worth individuals. Mr. Blathras uses an integrated approach to the financial planning needs of his clients. His services include corporate, partnership, trust and individual tax minimization strategies, and strategic business planning. Prior to becoming a member of SSFG Tax & Business Services, Mr. Blathras served as a senior accountant at a regional firm serving clients with revenues ranging from $1M to $50M. In such role he gained extensive knowledge with respect to business and individual tax minimization strategies, and estate, trust and gift tax planning with regards to preserving client wealth.

Mr. Blathras’ educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from DePaul University prior to obtaining a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. He has attended numerous seminars related to the following subject matters: like kind exchanges; trust and estate tax planning; business evolution – the phases of business growth; annual federal and state tax updates.

Mr. Demos served as a senior tax accountant at a regional firm serving clients with revenues ranging from $1M to $50M. In such role he gained extensive knowledge with respect to business and individual tax strategies.

Mr. Demos’ educational background includes a Bachelor in Business Administration from Loyola University with a concentration in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant registered to practice in the State of Illinois and also holds a Real Estate Brokers license. He has attended numerous seminars related to the following subject matters: like kind exchanges; trust and estate tax planning; business evolution – the phases of business growth; annual federal and state tax updates.
